The anti-monopoly and competition protection law represents a great framework for executing a policy that could safeguard competition and prevent harmful practices of monopoly. However, the law has taken nearly 10 years to complete. In this article, Dr. Nader Riad and many other politicians and businessmen discuss the anti-monopoly laws in Egypt. Dr. Riad states that it is important to pay attention to some indispensable principles to activate and the role of the law. By doing this, we can achieve the aspired expectations. First of all is the percentage of the acquisition of the market, it is better in this regard to adopt the bilateral standard.
