The German – Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce organized the 9 th German Arab Business Forum in Berlin from 6-8 September 2006 whereby Dr. Nader Riad participated as president of the Egyptian – German Business Council . ( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
The forum conversed for 3 days the process of investment and trade development between Germany and the Arab countries . Dr. Raid’s speech focused on facilitating the transport of technology and creating vehicles for the industrial sector , opening up the field of cooperation in research and industrial development , increasing cooperation in the banking and financial field , cooperation in the field of small industries , broadening the applications of the Mubarak-Kohl initiative , promoting establishing a maintenance center in Egypt , Facilitating cooperation in the field of owning and financing industrial and intellectual copyright for German brands , creating a vehicle for Egyptian industrial development , cooperation in the field of creating a rating /ranking systems , cooperation in the field of consumer protection , making use of the German experience in the field of product evaluation and more harmonization seeked with European standards .
