The Egypt-German Think Tanks Conference titled “Toward an Innovative Approach to Think Tank Management” was organized by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center in association with Konrad Adenaur Stiftung, Germany was held at the Marriot Hotel, Zamalek, Cairo on the 30 June – 1 July 2008.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
There are many challenges that face Egyptian industry leaving no alternative but to win such a battle. The relatively few Egyptian industries that are on equal footing with their international counterparts form a bridge helping numerous promising industries to invade international markets. Several principals must be adopted to achieve such a goal such as quality control, human development, competitive advantages, a mechanism for securing enough stock to meet all needs of clients, after-sale services mechanism, achieving customers’ satisfaction under all circumstances, complaint management, promoting research and development allocations and purchasing and adopting new technologies. Research and development were and will be the success makers of any industrial establishment and have a great impact on the future of the establishment’s development and security.
