Dr. Nader Riad, a businessman and expert on technology, talks about the vital role that unions of insurance companies play across the globe to secure safety on the streets. He explains the procedures adopted by such unions in some developed countries, such as Australia and Europe, to issue insurance according to the car fitness and drivers‘ behavior on the streets. He calls for similar procedures to be applied to Egypt’s insurance sector, too. At the same time, he says this union can play a much bigger role when it comes to inspecting elevators and other electric equipment, thus improving Egypt’s bad reputation in this regard.
