In his article about the two limits of maximum and minimum wage, Dr. Nader Riad assured that raising the minimum wage is an Egyptian National demand which has been waited for long, while the approach of defining a limit for the maximum wage is unjustifiable matter in a country where the government wants to raise the level of transparency. Also, this is an invitation for depriving of the talented professionals, as the talented shall go out of our governmental institutions, Oil and Gas Sector, and Banks to serve the foreign companies. The article also showed that organizing the maximum wage limit, if any, should be accompanied by two things: the commitment of the affiliated organizations of the government, whether they were organizations of the public sector or ministries or local organizations to apply that, since in fact it’s obvious that officials of local organizations, officials of railways, sanitation workers, and a section of teachers don’t receive the minimum wage which is currently applied by a system called contract labor, a matter which can’t be ignored now. Second: allowing part-time system in the limits of 18 hours weekly for whosoever forced including women that have sensitive family circumstances or men who are obliged to have such a system because of a disease or commitment to caring for a patient at home or whatsoever, where labor acts in the industrial countries have regulated that the employed individual is entitled to receive the half of the minimum limit of the salaries and commitment to a part- time system, distributed over days of the week by the means he sees suitable for him. The Article asked for opening the wage ceiling in front of Egyptians, in return each one of them shall pay his due taxes regardless how high is his income. Defining the maximum wage and income is no more applied even in countries which were socialist for long decades.
