This paper discusses the subject through the following elements: policies to activate the participation of women in the area of small projects – to activate the role of NGOs in the empowerment of Egyptian women – the role of women in political participation – to change the media policy values and concepts that affect adversely the status of women and community development – towards the achievement of a bill a unified personal status. The National Democratic Party believes that comprehensive development can not be achieved in our society without the active involvement of women, the basic principles of the party have pointed to a separate article showing that the party believes in the importance of the role of women as half of society and seeks to give effect to its contribution to public life, in the light of the previous vision seeks, policies try to strengthen women’s empowerment to achieve the following objectives: integration of women in all relevant public policies – to empower women economically, socially and politically – to expand women’s participation in public life – the elimination of any images of discrimination against women.
