Eng / Ahmed Fouad ALLAGANY presented a working paper on “The impact of resolution 113 and the law of fraudulent trade in consumer protection,” noting that the resolution 113 for the year 1994, eliminated the need to retain the function of the source documents and that possession of the goods is a significant impact on the Egyptian market ,clearing it from the phenomenon of corruption, fraud and counterfeit have been observed by a large margin in the production of all kinds of different food items and electrical and auto parts … Etc., where the confiscation of goods and non-conformity to specifications is punished by imprisonment and a fine imposed on the holder of the commodity. The paper explained that the issuance of the commercial fraud law No. 281 of 1994 and the suppression of fraud and swindling completed the seminar on the phenomenon of the elimination of all means of fraud, and the necessity of dealing in the production of sound goods, especially o far as human or animal food or drugs or medicines or medicinal plants or agricultural crops or natural products or industrial products for sale are concerned , transfer or display of any article of food or drugs or medicines or medicinal plants or crops, or any fraudulent products, where the penalty of not less than two years and not exceeding seven years and a fine of not less than 20000 pounds, and not more than 40000 pounds are imposed. The paper pointed out that the trade fairs held on the grounds of citizens, and that the facilitation of such exhibitions have become sources of wealth, where non conform products of old and unknown origin are sold for exorbitant prices. Indulging in such activity may lead to imprisonment .
