After it was accredited by President Hosny Mubarak, the German Embassy in Cairo, in a formal ceremony, at the German Embassy in Cairo, and on behalf of the President of Federal Republic of Germany, granted Dr. Nader Riad the German Order of Merit.( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Riad is the only Egyptian business person that succeeded in acquiring the German Bavaria and the name changed to be Bavaria Egypt. On the other hand, the Chamber of Engineering Industries will celebrate next week the occasion to honouring him as a member of the union. Riad is a member of the National Democratic Party, a counsellor at the Industries Union at the People’s Assembly‘s Industry and Energy Committee and the Head of the Industrial Committee at the Arab German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
