Dr. Nader Riad gave the ceremonies opening speech in which he thanked the entire guest for attending and expressed his gratitude for their concern with global warming and the use of clean, renewable energy. In his speech, Dr. Riad described the current trends related to global warming which include high thermal emissions and the lose of glaciers in the artic. He continues on to discuss ways in which countries can relieve these thermal emissions by implementing clean and renewable sources of energy which include solar, wind and water.
