In the wake of the Beni Sweif fire, Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni submitted his resignation, with a desire to be held responsible on behalf of all those involved in this tragic event. However, the actual perpetrator in this and other similar incidents is negligence and lassitude that have been boring into our lives and squandering all our positive resources. Hence, we urge the Minister of Culture to tip the scale towards his obligation and national duty, and not to quit his post, now, given the great achievements that he has made, not only at the local level, but also extensively at the international level.
