Samya Ashour submitted a working paper titled “Internal Information Sector Role in Protecting Consumer”. It handled the role of internal information centers through which domestic issues and environmental problems could be highlighted to enhance the awareness and importance of consumers in taking part in discussing their cases to reach recommendations and solutions required. The working paper dealt with the role of internal information protecting consumers through the following: Determining needed abilities to begin and complete the requirements if necessary, the role of information represented in conferences, training courses, research forums, childhood clubs, cinema and printed documents, the establishment of training courses regarding development of consumer conduct, holding forums regarding commercial theft and how it affects development, indicating that protecting the consumer is accomplished by determining the targeted audience and by inviting experts and specialists in that field, making use of illiteracy plans to convey the needed message of protecting the consumer with developed-consumer awareness, providing classes to combat illiteracy and calling for appointing a special day for consumer protection.
