Egyptian industry is facing much tougher competition from abroad due to globalization and economic liberalization. Yet some Egyptian companies have also become international giants after taking over other foreign enterprises. This can certainly bring great benefits to Egypt’s industry as a whole, and demonstrates that in this new era this industry must do its utmost to grow international. Globalization and trade liberalization pose great challenges to Egyptian companies, as they are now faced with a flow of products from abroad and stronger competition from foreign companies. Yet some Egyptian companies have been able, for their part, to take over some of their foreign counterparts or partners, thus getting access to their respective foreign markets. Bavaria Egypt is one of them. Its products are now circulating in central European markets, and this has been reflecting positively on all Egyptian industry. For example, foreign modern technology has been brought to Egypt. Egypt’s industry can also benefit from the experiences and resources of Egyptian businessmen and industrialists living and working abroad.
