The Euromed Finance & Investment Club held in Barcelona where Egypt was represented by Dr. Nader Riad. The conference discussed the needs of southern Mediterranean states and the available credit vehicles needed to boost development, banks’ role in this and the situation in each of those states. Dr. Riad stressed on the exemplary Egyptian experiment epitomized in the new Tax Law which is considered a revolution in Egyptian taxation concepts not even applied in many advanced countries.
