The issue of meeting Egypt’s needs of energy at low prices has become a central economic challenge in the near future, especially in light of the high prices of crude oil that are expected to go over $100 a barrel. Therefore, Egypt had to launch an urgent national program to get clean energy from different sources. Joining the new and renewable energy club has become an inevitable option for Egypt.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Meeting Egypt’s needs of energy at low prices has become a central economic challenge in the near future, especially in light of the high prices of crude oil that are expected to skyrocket to over $100 a barrel. Therefore, Egypt had to launch an urgent national program to get clean energy from different sources. Joining the new and renewable energy club has become an inevitable option for Egypt, which has great capabilities enabling it to make use of the renewable and clean energy. However, renewable energy generated from wind power, for example, does not exceed 1% of Egypt’s electric power.
