The Paper discusses a number of important issues and challenges related to regional stability: Egypt and the support to the building of a Palestinian state – Egypt and the strengthening of integration with the Sudan – Egypt’s solidarity with Iraq and Egypt and the strengthening of cooperation with the countries of the Nile Basin. The paper explained that in light of the trend showing greater instability in the region and the lack of balance in international policies in dealing with regional issues and challenges ; Egypt and its historic role is representative by a major party rendering a key player in achieving peace and security of the peoples of the region, starting from the firm fundamentals of the Charter of the United Nations and the targeting of security and regional stability, including calls from political and diplomatic movements that support the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of States, non-interference in the internal affairs resulting from conflict or sectarian or ethnic or religious groups and solving problems by peaceful means, and not to use armed forces or threat to use force. The paper stressed that the leadership of the region exceeds the “state of the regional conflict,” “The state of regional cooperation” is and will remain a major focus of the vision of the party towards Egypt’s regional role.
