In its meeting last May 15, the Education Development Fund (EDF) discussed how to support the civil society’s role in the development of Egyptian schools in order to benefit from Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak’s great project to develop 100 schools. The meeting was chaired by PM Ahmed Nazif and attended by Dr. Nader Riad, the Fund’s board member.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
The meeting discussed how to apply Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak’s project in Fayoum, Sohag and Luxor as a first phase, in cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Heliopolis Development Association, which sponsored the project, Magdi Radi, the Cabinet Spokesman, said. This reflects many societal symbols’ desire to participate in education development projects. Dr. Nazif called on the Education Development Fund to – in cooperation with the Ministry of Education – apply the 100 school development project nationwide, Radi added.
