As chairman of CEEBA, Dr. Nader Riad participated in the3 rd Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference on the Environment held in Grand Hyatt, Cairo on 20 th November 2006.
Number of VIPs participated in the conference, including Minister Maged George, Minister of State for the Environment , Ministers , Governors , heads of delegation and Ambassadors. In his speech, Dr. Nader Riad expressed his appreciation for the vision of the Ministry of environment which used the carrot, rather than the stick applying the environmental law. Dr. Riad announce herein that Egyptian business is with , and for, the environment. He also confirmed the full unlimited support for Agenda 2020 for de-polluting the Mediterranean.
