This article discusses wasted resources within Egypt. Some believe the main cause of economic problems in Egypt is the lack of resources, capabilities and wealth. But facts show that Egypt enjoys a diverse and abundant of the essential factors of power such as the natural wealth, long coasts, tourism attractions, monuments, human resources, universities and research centers in different fields of science and knowledge.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
This article discusses the wasted resources within Egypt. Currently, many think lack of resources, capabilities and wealth is the main cause behind Egypt’s economic problems, reliable facts say Egypt is rich of the essential factors of power nonexistent elsewhere in the Middle East region. This includes resources such as the natural wealth, long coasts, several tourism traditions, human element, universities and research centers. The blame is set then on the way Egypt is managing these resources. It is highly important to raise people’s awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and rationalize the use of power and water. Oversight and control should be tightened over the consumption and management of these resources which suffer from wastage and loss.
