Professor Dr. / Mohamed Afify presented a working paper on „the rights and duties of the consumer.“ Which Is a working paper on consumer protection in general and his rights and provide appropriate levels of consumption in parallel with the duties and the interests of producers, through the following main topics: the rights of the consumer – and the duties of the consumer – the recommendations in the field of consumer protection. The Paper deals with the issue of consumer protection and how it serves many of the positive results, whether economically or socially, economically, it is: the protection of the consumer leads to lower health care costs and consumption of medicine as well as directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the productive labor force and the resultant increase in national income . It is socially oriented: The protection of consumer commitment by organizations and governments to provide an adequate level of well-being of consumers and provide services commensurate with a decent standard of living of citizens. the Paper provides a number of important recommendations in the area of consumer protection, including: the work of seminars and publication of bulletins containing totals for food awareness and food alternatives available food – Guidelines for safe food for a balanced family and members of different age groups and special situations – and awareness of food consumption by rationalizing the role of religion, schools and rural units – use of a disposable iron absorption in the planning of meals and bread to strengthen the element of iron, as well as the use of a mixture of wheat and corn bread for the work – training sessions in the production and circulation of food and provide food for the development of their abilities to work in this area – training sessions for food control inspectors to develop their abilities to work – work for the abolition of the words „the goods are not sold and replaced by“ – the intensification of information campaigns to the consumer that determine the extent of the damage done to it, which could use the contaminated food.
