An important conference was held on the 28th and 29th of May 2005, namely ,“The first National Conference for the Development of the system of Scientific Research in Egypt. The Conference was held under the auspicious of H.E. President Hosny Mubarak , President of the Republic. Attending the Conference was his H.E. the Prime Minister ,and H.E. the Minister of Higher Education and State for Scientific Research. Present as Well was Dr. Nader Riad President of the board of Bavaria-Egypt. Subjects raised at the conference were as important as Economics and Financing of scientific research, and framework of the law of scientific research , and Infrastructure for the system of scientific research (information and communication technology. The first National Conference for the development of scientific research in Egypt was held on 28-29 May 2005. President Hosni Mubarak honored the conference which was held under His auspices. The Prime Minister, and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research attended the Conference. Meanwhile Dr. Nader Riad General Manager of Bavaria Egypt played an important role in the success of the conference. His efforts did not go unheeded by H.E. the Minister who sent him a thank you note expressing his appreciation. It was worthy to note that among the speakers were a number of women who are playing positive roles in and leaving their imprints on the development and success of this important issue. A number of eminent specialists in the field attended and laid down their vision of how the system should proceed so as to have the greatest impact on such an important subject.
