Industry is the backbone of national economy. But this industry should be persevered and maintained in order to continue doing its role in the country. However, industry as well as trade is facing some problems that may undermine them if not faced and confronted. The problem we mean is the industrial and commercial fraud, the most outstanding obstacle to national economy. ( Available in Arabic )
The phenomenon of industrial and commercial fraud is running rampant to the detriment of the national economy. The Egyptian government has issued many laws to regulate industry and trade and prevent any fraud or cheat. This is meant to preserve consumers‘ health and safety, thus preventing harmful effects that impede national economy. This study sheds light on some efforts made by successive Egyptian governments, which have issued many laws and ministerial decrees to preserve national industry and economy. The Egyptian market is full of counterfeited and low-quality goods and products that, if used, pose a danger to the security, safety and health of the Egyptian consumer as well as the Egyptian economy. Control bodies must face this phenomenon, as their role is to protect the Egyptian society against all forms of fraud.
