The principle of „Education for Employment“ will be applied Dr. Hani Helal , the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research witnessed the day before yesterday the signing ceremony of two cooperation agreements between the Technical Institute for Tourism and Hotels in technological college in AL Mataria and the Ministry of Agriculture with American Company in order to train students and give them the various skills in the company’s restaurants. The head of the Education Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Development project manager of developing technological colleges and the Chancellor of Menoufia University and a group of leaders and faculty members and company officials witnessed the signing. Dr. Hani Helal, the Minister of Higher Education stressed the need to increase interaction between the educational institutions with institutions of civil society needs in order to rehabilitate students and giving them skills and information.( Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
Dr. Nader Riad , the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the technological college in AL Mataria said that the council aims at providing the distinguished educational service similar to what is provided by the advanced countries, in order to apply the principle of „Education for employment and linking training to the labor market“ in cooperation with the entities that demand this quality of graduates and he praised the initial experience and its successes, which called for the agreement with the company to increase the number of trainees students due to their special expertise in the areas of human resource development and training Moataz AL Alfi, the head of Americana group pointed out that this agreement comes in activation of the initial agreement, which was signed in May 2006 with the Technical Institute for Tourism and Hotels, which take the proactive in the expanded application of the principle of education for employment, followed by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Menoufia in the application on the level of scientific college . He pointed out that the successful achievements of the agreement on the level of the Ministry and the Institute and Foundation of training, which will benefit the student’s. Mohammed Farouk , the Chief Executive Officers for human resources explained that the agreement aims at giving the students the necessary job skills and vocational training in the company’s restaurants starting from the pioneering experience that took place between the Institute and the company in the completion of the first phase successfully as it achieved a success of 100% as the company wishes to increase the number of trained students to reach the number of 1,500 students per year with the commitment to provide the capacity of training restaurants and trainers
