This paper discusses the restructuring of the health sector, through the following elements: description of the current situation – strengths and challenges of the current global system of health – policies for the restructuring of the health sector – the proposed timetable for the proposed policies – also discusses policies to improve nursing and nursing education in Egypt. The Party believes that the efforts of restructuring the health sector must seek to achieve the objectives of the package, to achieve a decentralized planning and decentralized implementation, coordination and integration between the parties based on health service delivery (government – private sector – civil sector) as well as the coordination of efforts between the Government (Ministry of _ Health and Ministry of Higher Education, etc. ..) and support the participation of the private and community sectors in the provision of health services and health service management in a way that separates between funding and service delivery.
