The paper of „Strategic Vision of the NDP Policies… Five Years of New Thought“ spotlights the march of reform since it was launched by the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) at its eighth general conference in 2002 under the slogan „New Thought“. The NDP adopted an ambitious agenda in accordance with an integrated philosophy that dominated its policies towards all reform issues.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
The paper focused on the following themes: First, Employment and Investment: the economic orientation – farmers and agricultural development. Second, Services and Social Justice: social justice and support for poor families – housing, utilities and urban development – education and human development – healthcare and population – youth and sports – transport services. Third, National Security: Egypt’s national security in a changing world – energy and development – Citizenship and democracy.
