Dr. Nader Riad gave a speech which referred to the culture shared between Egypt and Germany. Even though he spent more than half his life in Germany he is deeply rooted in Upper Egypt. Riad studied in Germany and gained his experience in industry before he returned to Egypt to establish an industry of fire extinguishers under the trademark Bavaria. The company bought the parent company and received international and regional awards, including the first Egyptian award for production excellence.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
A symposium was organized at the book fair entitled „Germany and I“ where Dr Nader Riad gave a speech that indicated the culture shared between Egypt and Germany. Riad is deeply rooted in Upper Egypt and has spent more than half of his life in Germany where he studied and gained experience in industry. Upon his return to Egypt he established an industry for equipment to fight fires under the trademark Bavaria. His company recorded success in the local market and exports. The company was able to buy the parent company and received international and regional awards, including the first Egyptian award for production excellence. While in Germany he learned the definition, value and behavior of accepting others and dealing with them as human beings regardless of race, colour or religion.
