Dr. Nader Riad was elected as chairman of the Arab Federation for Protection of Intellectualy Property Rights (AFPIPR) for the 2011-2014 term. The AFPIPR general assembly took this decision in its meeting at the Federation of Egyptian Industries that was attended by Mr. Maher Awwad, chairman of the Federations and Companies Department at the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU), members of the AFPIPR general assembly and some Arab advisors.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
The AFPIPR general assembly elected Dr. Nader Riad as chairman of the Arab Federation for Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (AFPIPR) for the 2011-2014 term. The AFPIPR will hold a meeting to develop a plan for the upcoming period. The upcoming steps will support what has already been achieved in Egypt and Arab countries. Cooperation with world intellectual property rights organizations will help achieve the aspired goals and make use of international activities. The CAEU goal in the upcoming period is to raise public awareness of intellectual property rights and increase the number of CAEU members in Egypt and the Arab world.
