Arab integration is fundamental to protect intellectual property rights. They have been given a great deal of attention by Arab countries for more than a century, and there is an entity protecting such rights in the Arab world. Yet, more remains to be done. ( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Arab integration is fundamental for and relies on protecting intellectual property rights. They have been given a great deal of attention by Arab countries since the 19th century, and different laws were passed in the second half of the 20th century in this regard. The Arab Union for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (AUPIPR) is a first entity protecting Arab inventions. Its goal is to contribute to achieving Arab economic integration, provide a legal environment to encourage inventions, and develop an intellectual protection system in the Arab countries.
