Dr. Nader Riad, the head of the Confederation of Egyptian – European Business Organizations emphasized that they do their utmost to stimulate the trilateral cooperation between the European and Egyptian companies and their African counterparts in order to deploy the sustainable development for the sake of African citizens. This is stated during the meeting of the heads of business organizations with Omar Konary the head of the African Union Delegate The meeting was under the auspicious of the General Union of Commercial Chambers under the chairmanship of Ahmed El Wakeel.( Available in Arabic – German in PDF)
Konary declared that they understood the situation in Egypt, and that Egypt and Africa will not live in isolation from each other , and he added that the Egyptian Business Community must realize that the Egyptian economic future is subject to its cooperation with the African Countries , and that Egypt has a great role in achieving the African renaissance , The main role of the business organization is to assist in the overcoming of the transient differences which hit the Egyptian African relations in the previous phase. Mohamed Elsewedy, Head of Federation of Egyptian Industries, clarified that the role of hundreds of Egyptian companies is not limited only to export but they also invest across the continent through building factories, in order to provide job opportunities for these countries‘ citizens and developing their exports. He indicated that 80% of Egypt’s economic future is linked to the continent which we are proud to belong to it.
