The Egyptian-European business organizations, has organized a symposium attended by a number of Egyptian and European leaders occasion of the start of the Egyptian plan to activate policy-neighborly relations with the European Union. ( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Engineer Rashid Mohamed Rashid, had announced during the symposium that they negotiate with the European Union to obtain an exemption from customs duties on Egyptian agricultural and food goods when they enter the markets of the European Union. And He also pointed out that they will establishment of 8 subcommittees to support the rules and procedures for the Egyptian side to activate the policy of neighborly relations with the European Union.
