The report which was prepared by Dr. Nader Riad , the Chairman of the Federation of the Egyptian European Business Organizations about the promotion of small and medium-sized industries stressed that small industries is the base upon which the hierarchy of the industry lean on which contributes in strengthening the competitiveness and then export capacity and increase the added value in the Egyptian industrial component. The report monitors the strategic goals behind promoting these industries and the successful experiences in this matter.(Available in Arabic- German in PDF)
The report monitors the strategic goals behind promoting these industries in three goals: First : Economic trend through: the fair distribution of national income represented in supporting population activity through the geographical area – developing domestic savings which raises the investment rates and the return on National Investment on one hand – and also working to rein in inflation rates on the other hand – increasing demand for using local raw materials – contributing in achieving a better balance of payments balance through replacing domestic imports instead of imported imports. The second goal is developing human resources by providing real jobs with productive return and its positively impact on the unemployment problem of throughout the geographical area, as well as the lifting the unskilled and semi-skilled labor capacity as well as supporting industrial concepts The third goal is a technological trend through recruitment of craft skills to integrate with the more organized industrial society, which helps to legalize craft skills and provide marketing for it through product ready for sale in order to find its way without suffering as well as along with rehabilitation to deal with the larger industries as a feeding industry.
