Dr. Ahmed Gwoeili, Secretary of the Arab Economic Unity, Mr. Hesham Fathy Ragab, Assistant Minister for Legal and Legislation Affairs, Egyptian Ambassador to the EU, Hani Khalaf was among the speakers of the meeting. Later during the conference, Dr. Nader Riad discussed the achievements that have been made of the Arab Union for Protection of Intellectual Property Rights. The Union helped to spread awareness by offering training sessions, which taught the members the importance of implementing IP’s. The pharmaceutical companies have also benefited from the fight of intellectual properties and continue to develop.
