Businessman Nader Riad looks into the state of the Egyptian industry and its ability to compete internationally. He first describes the Egyptian market as very attractive for international corporations, mentioning some success stories to back his assertion. This „invasion“, though, poses a serious challenge to local companies. The latter have to do their best to become international unless they want to be overwhelmed by these global giants, and local competition must grow, too. Some Egyptian companies have already found their way into foreign markets, and others will hopefully follow suit
