Dr. / Ahmed Ibrahim Abd Al-Hadi and Dr. / Amina Meselhi presented a working paper on „Consumer protection in the area of government services.“ the paper evolves on several main aspects: What is the level of protection available in the performance of government service? – Can it be taken into account when the rights of consumers to perform military service? What kinds of government services, which require greater protection for the interests and needs of the citizens? How to improve the level of protection for consumers in the area of government services provided by the State monopoly, which does not have any alternatives in its performance by other parties other that these government agencies? The Paper aims to identify the views of consumers in terms of government services: the level of performance of government service – the cost of obtaining it – quick access to the service – the degree of availability of information on the service – pay attention to the grievances of consumers – description of the current situation of consumer protection in the area of civil service status of any degree of consensus current assets, with the scientific principles for the protection of the consumer and what the problems and obstacles that impeded the provision of protection. The paper reasons that led to increased attention to the protection of the rights and interests of consumers, including: increasing consumer demands from producers to get access to services in accordance with the wishes of the individual result of a rise in consumer income and the living and the level of education and welfare – the consumer expectation of high levels of quality of products and services with lower real income and purchasing power of consumers as a result of high prices – the lack of adequate information about the characteristics of services and prices – low unemployment rate and low hiring of skilled young graduates has led to the low quality of services – the emergence of the problem of low-income consumer, and the suffering as a result of fraud and excessive prices and low quality – changes the legal and political outlook of the issue of consumer protection and the acceptance of government intervention to protect the rights of consumers – the psychological damage suffered by some consumers because of the use of certain goods and services .
