A conference was held in Munich (Germany) on investment for a secure world. It was attended by many high-ranking politicians and business personalities from Egypt and Germany. A conference was held in Munich (Germany) on investment for a secure world. It was attended by many high-ranking politicians and business personalities from Egypt and Germany. Its main goal was to attract German banks and companies to invest in Egypt, as the country would be a gateway to Arab and African markets. A few reforms have already been carried out in Egypt to improve its business and investment climate. Hopefully, this will give a boost to German investments in Egypt and indeed in the Middle East as a whole, as they have been very limited so far compared to Germany’s overall foreign investments.
