Tens of meetings work papers and discussions during the Fourth Annual Conference of the National Party, which was held from 19: 21/9/2006.conecting all this work was one line of thought being the concerns facing the simple citizen . The conference, was held under the slogan (new philosophy … a second surge towards the future) by putting down trends and new policies for the various public issues. President Mubarak in his speech at the end of the National Conference stressed the priorities for action in the coming stage. ( Available in Arabic )

The Fourth Annual Conference of the National democratic Party opened the door wide for dialogue about the future in Egypt. The government aspired during the conference to provide an account of its achievements, formulations of new policies and issues of education, health, economy, sports and the Egyptian national security to be translated into public policies which both the government and the party were committed to implement . This was confirmed by President Mubarak who said that the next year is a year of constitutional reforms, which were sketched in the previous year. Reported saying in a speech at the end of the conference that the next parliamentary session will witness constitutional amendments, the most important since 1980. H.E said that the government would continue to implement his electoral program, focusing mainly on social support and access of sustenance to target groups and the expansion of the social security network. The President explained that the main challenge facing the government is to increase employment rates and provide more job opportunities for young people and strengthen the capacity of the Egyptian exports to compete in world markets, so as to attract more investments.
