President Hosni Mubarak opened, the annual conference of the National Democratic Party, which was held from 29-30/9/2005 . The conference was attended by a group of ministers, governors and members of the parliament as well as party cadres and intellectuals, businessmen and industrialists The Conference discussed the issues of research and of economy , education health, transport, youth and women. The conference ’s working sessions during two days dealt with a number of important policies, including: economic policies to encourage investment and increase the capacity of the Egyptian economy to attract investors – the development of the tourism sector – the rights of workers and relations with labor- the development of the insurance sector – the regularization of non-formal economy – the development of education policies , universities and the preparation of the teachers- the economics of higher education – the establishment of University – Linking education needs of the labor market – the development of health policies of the health care system and health insurance – the establishment of a national quality assurance and accreditation for health care – transport policy is to develop the sectors of maritime and air transport – the introduction of activating system for the separation of ownership and management in the development of ports , air and sea services, in addition to youth policies – empowerment of Women – Egypt and the world – the rights of citizenship and democracy.
