The educational process’ outputs are, in terms of quantity and quality- the most important inputs of the industrial sector and the mainstay of development and the ability of the industry to maintain a level of world competition.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Egypt must apply the same principals that have been adopted by the EU’s unique expertise to create harmonization between systems. Questions were asked such as: Do institutions and facilities graduate technicians and engineers qualified to meet the needs of industry? What is the reason behind the growing number of unemployed graduates and what is the solution? The answers to these questions are a guide to the future of Egypt’s industry. Egypt should follow the European model. Institutions should adopt the same European educational programs. This would lead to recognition of university certificates. Accreditation should be applied in accordance with world standards. Subjects should be currently taught in European universities and a system of general specialization and specific specialization should be applied and should change to meet the needs of the labor market.
