Countries around the world continue to combat the corruption of black markets and counterfeit goods. This black market exists throughout all industries and affects the local and international economic stability of these industries. Intellectual property rights along with many other infringements are key area which needs to be addressed. ( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Countries throughout the world continue to fight the battle of the „black market“. These markets continue to expand, and have affected the business and economies of all industries. Not only are these underground industries infringing on intellectual property rights and other copyright laws, but the industry is affecting developing countries who want to come onto the industry as another source for cheaper goods. This article explains these variables, and where Egypt stands with the issue. Egypt, along with many other developing countries is major locations where these counterfeit goods are being produced. And in order for the industries to feel comfortable with business in Egypt, there must be strenuous changes to the laws within Egypt and the ban of underground industries.
