Studies have been completed to set up the first oil pump factory in the Ismailia Governorate. It will be carried out with the contribution of German businesses and the German Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Some of the Chamber members also took part in a seminar held in Ismailia to draw up a development plan for the governorate. (Available in Arabic- German in PDF )
Studies have been completed to set up the first oil pump factory in the Ismailia Governorate which will provide some 1,500 job opportunities. German businesses and the German Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce are due to take part in this project. A seminar was held in Ismailia on this issue and, more generally, on drawing up a plan to develop the governorate. It was attended by several businessmen and political personalities. On that occasion, the German Arab Chamber said it would set up a new branch in Ismailia to provide private businessmen there with German services. This branch will also train some local youth on information technology and how to use it to promote the governorate’s products. A delegation of the Chamber also visited some factories in Ismailia’s industrial zone and free zone.
