The Arab Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights has been working hard to protect intellectual property, as it believes this would contribute to economic development. The Arab Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights has been working hard to boost intellectual property over the past few years. Its chairman, Dr. Nader Riad, believes such protection would have positive economic consequences, but this must be supported by efforts to achieve economic unity in the Arab world. Some steps have been taken in this direction, yet the Arabs are still very far away from forming a union like Europe. The resources and the potentials to reach this goal are there, though; they must be properly used.
