Dr. Eng. Nader Riad, representative of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, is appointed as board member of the Consumer Protection Agency for a three-year term starting in November 2009. The Decree No. 921 of 2009, issued by the Minister of Trade and Industry, is composed of five articles appointing board members and illustrating their functions. The decree appointed: the chairperson; the State Council vice chairperson; experts; and representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Consumer Protection Agency, the Federation of the Qualitative Consumer, the Central Consumer Cooperative Association, the General Union of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and the UN Development Program in Egypt.
