In a meeting held two days ago in Cairo, the Arab Union Board for the Protection of Patents approved the establishment of a regional office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by Prince Mashaal Bin Mohamed Bin Abdel Aziz Al Seoud. In a meeting held two days ago in Cairo, the Arab Union Board for the Protection of Patents approved the establishment of a regional office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by Prince Mashaal Bin Mohamed Bin Abdel Aziz Al Seoud. This decision was announced by Dr. Nader Riad, Chairman of the Union. Dr. Riad went on to state that the meeting also discussed activating the Union’s work by holding specialized training sessions to spread the awareness for the importance of Patents and to establish a website which would give answers to questions and educate people on the different sectors.
