In this article, Al-Shabaab met with Dr. Nader Riad to discuss his life and accomplishments. Upon graduation, he began searching for work and succeeded in finding a job as an engineer in a military factory. However, the job turned out to be in a factory producing refrigerators and other household appliances, which was far from his field of specialization and interest. Dr. Riad was proud of his work and specialization, and refused to work in any other sector. He refused the job after only working for one day, using his right to object to arbitrary distribution of graduates. His family tried to persuade him to continue working, sitting that a secure job was the only hope for youth. Still, he refused to continue in a field far from his specialization for the simple reason of earning money. Thus, he embarked on the field of manufacturing, although he had not been thinking of starting a business in that industry.(Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
