An international conference was held in Munich (Germany) under the title Investment for a Secure World, the first joint activity between an Egyptian body and the German Business Council. An international conference was held in Munich (Germany) under the title Investment for a Secure World. It was the first joint activity Egypt had with the German Business Council, and was attended by many high-ranking economic and politic personalities from all over the world. Dr. Nader Riad, an important industrialist with strong links with the German business sector, hoped the conference would attract further German investments to Egypt. The participants eventually agreed that investment development and creation of job opportunities were the only solution for a secure world.
