In respect of the Dumping Law, the Chamber of Engineering Industries has been keen on amending the law on dumping: allowing for the start of the investigation, immediately on the presentation procedures and the acceptance of the dumping or support complaint immediately after presenting it by the Union of Egyptian Industries, or one of its Chambers of industry. The Union of Egyptian Industries has met to discuss the Dumping Law. It has suggested some amendments to the texts and drafting, which have impact on preventing confusion and identifying the meaning subject to the accepted scientific texts. The Chamber of Engineering Industries has concerned with adding paragraph to items (21, 22) of the executive bylaws to allow the start of investigating procedures and the acceptance of the dumping or support complaint immediately after presenting it by the Union of Egyptian Industries, or one of its Chambers of industry. The practical and executive aim of this addendum is allowing the beginning of dealing with the complaint and conducting investigation in it without delaying in order to collect votes. The Union of Industries can fulfill the document part regarding the collection of the quota of the concerned party, during dealing with the complaint and conducting investigation in it.
