In continuation with the previous episode our interview with Dr. Nader Riad has taken a new direction whereby we now address the importance of issuing a license for the operation of escalators, mobile mechanical equipment and cranes, as well as the role of the Insurance Companies Union. The previous episode witnessed dialogue into the pressing national role played by the Insurance Companies Union. In this episode, we continue in our dialogue with Dr. Nader Riad, whereby we now address the importance of issuing a license for the operation of escalators, mobile mechanical equipment and cranes, as well as the role of the Insurance Companies Union. Thus as an overview, Dr. Riad talks directly in relation to the fact that the operation and installation of escalators has been recognized by the administrative body as an uncalculated risk. It is here that he emphasizes the role of the Insurance Companies Union, whereby stating that they are the capable body to address this situation. He further talks about the necessity of acquiring a technical eligibility report that illustrates the escalators compliances with the requirements, whilst discussing the necessity for the issuance of driving license and market metal plates for all cranes, dredges and industrial equipment. Lastly, he goes into detail in regards to the need to implement regular inspections and tests on these machineries, whereby the insurance eligibility certificate will be determined from the results.
