The article talks about the measures taken by Egypt as regards intellectual property rights, which include the formation of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Organization and the possibility of establishing a specialized judiciary to protect these rights. It then tackles recommendations for intellectual property to become a factor in economic growth, which include acquainting industrial firms through symposiums and workshops with how to benefit financially from their intellectual rights, providing them with technical and legal assistance, data, research, studies and training.
