Dr. Nader Riad thinks education in Egypt needs reforming to cope with international standards and development. He puts forward his solutions to introduce new curricula and specializations in order to qualify manpower. He also suggests learning from the EU in this regard. Dr. Nader Riad thinks there is a need to reform high education in Egypt so that the country may keep abreast with international development. He stresses the need to focus on engineering education, introduce new common educational mechanisms shared by different universities internationally, and adopt new curricula and syllabuses so that Egyptian universities and institutes may be closer to European ones. He suggests that new specific specializations should be introduced to keep abreast with the modern work fields abroad. He also advises to introduce obligatory work permits for everyone after graduation.
