Hoax centers and their advertising is an ever-growing problem. The State is trying to tackle it through new legislations guaranteeing consumers’ rights and punishing contravening centers. The results, though, are still few. Meanwhile, complaints about such centers are going up and further ways to tackle the phenomenon are being proposed. ( Available in Arabic – German in PDF )
Hoax centers and their advertising is an ever-growing problem. Consumers need to be protected, especially after they have bought some products. For this reason, the State has been passing new legislations to tackle this problem and, if necessary, shut down those contravening centers. For some people, though, this is not enough. Controls by authorities are still too few and what is happening is a total chaos. And while complaints go up, Dr. Nader Riad suggests legal ways to make sure that only regularly-licensed maintenance centers can stay open.
