A meeting between the Federation of Business Organizations and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, began this evening with the main topic of discussion revolving around the priorities of the German presidency of the European Union. A meeting between the Federation of Business Organizations and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, began this evening with the main topic of discussion revolving around the priorities of the German presidency of the European Union. Various ministers are expected to have their say in regards to this main agenda; the Minister for Environment will expresses the necessity to preserve our environment for future generations, whilst the German Ambassador in Cairo will expresses the rational use of development into renewable energy. In saying this, the underlying intent for the meeting is to clarify the priorities of the German presidency of the Union. It was outlined that the European Union’s plan for this year includes many activities in support of the environment, whilst participating in a number of conferences due to be held. The Second Egyptian-European Investment Conference is due to be held during the first quarter of this year in the European Parliament building.
